Madres de la Cruz is an organization that operates in the La Cruz de Carrasco area in Canelones. It serves 65 children and their families providing them with school support and socializing activities. Some of these families are highly dysfunctional, facing problems such domestic violence, desertion, lack of self esteem and abuse. In addition, these kids show learning difficulties, limited communication skills and low concentration levels.
