Reaching
U has truly been a blessing to our organization. Reaching
U's work in Uruguay is really wonderful, not only because
of its financial contribution but also because of the
team based in Montevideo. This group of people gets directly
involved in the development and growth of the organizations
that receive Reaching U's aid. Without Reaching U's constant
support, it would have been very difficult for us to carry
out quality projects. |

I
have watched Reaching U grow from its inception to become
the great institution it is today. I am very proud of
what Inés Bonicelli and our team have achieved.
People can get involved in several ways. They can start
a Reaching U chapter (as long as it's feasible in their
area), participate as a sponsor in the "Friends of
Casa Lunas" program, become a Reaching U member,
or even collaborate with ideas or specific skills they
may have and that may benefit the foundation. |

My
experience with Reaching U has been truly amazing. The
team is so inspiring. So many smart people dedicating
their time and effort to this organization that it only
makes me want to be more and more involved with Reaching
U. It is a professionally run non-profit organization
with a very clear mission that is making big changes in
the lives of the many Uruguayans that receive Reaching
U's support. We need to try to make the effort that is
needed to take Reaching U to the "next" level.
For that, Reaching U needs increased and continuous support
of all its members. The children and women in Uruguay
will be eternally grateful for that. |

My
experience with Reaching U has been extremely positive.
Working in a volunteer environment is not always easy
since you have to learn to work as a team, be patient,
respect what the majority wants, and overcome your shyness
when trying to sell raffle tickets, event tickets, ask
for donations, etc. After each event, our team tries to
get together to review what has been accomplished and
what could be improved next time. We always finish these
meetings feeling exhausted but overjoyed knowing that
we have done something to help those Uruguayans who havent
been as fortunate as we have.
I
would like to invite all of you to join existing Reaching
U working groups or start a new one. Youll find
that it will give your life a new meaning! |

I
first heard about Reaching U when I was asked to donate
one of my art works. As I started to get to know the team,
I started to feel (and continue to do so) very motivated
by this young and bright group of people that was working
so hard to help our home country. I am currently quite
involved with Reaching U and find the experience very
rewarding. |

My
experience with Reaching U has been very positive and
enriching. I really enjoy working with my team, dealing
with all the institutions we are able to help and learn
from, and being part of such a dynamic organization that
brings together people from so many different parts of
the world with the objective of helping Uruguayans in
great need. |

I
have been involved in many activities organized by Reaching
U, most of them with very good results, like the first
art auction held in Miami and different parties. The most
important thing about taking part in these activities
is to know that, while having a good time with friends,
you are really helping others. |

My
first experience with Reaching U was a small fundraiser
involving the sale of various pieces of folk art and some
textiles held at a showroom in the garment district. It
was there I met Inés Bonicelli and some of the
other people involved with the group. I was tremendously
impressed by the energy and dedication of these young
Uruguayan professionals living in the U.S. and trying
to find a way to help Uruguay. Reaching U has grown in
a well thought out and well executed manner. The solicitation
and evaluation of funding proposals has been carried out
in a very professional manner. New members have been attracted
to the organization, and the energy level of those involved
never ceases to amaze me. |
