Since it started in 2001, Reaching U has provided continuous support to a few selected organizations in Uruguay. In 2004, the foundation established a grant application process. In September of each year, new organizations can apply for funding for specific projects involving women and children of Uruguay. In 2007, 26 applications were received and 14 organizations were selected, half of them for the first time.
