Thanks for supporting Reaching U!

In 2007 we achieved many of our goals and we want to share the good news with you: Reaching U raised almost $130,000! By December 2007 we had distributed $80,000 among 15 organizations that are committed to improving the quality of life of hundreds of women and children in Uruguay. Another $44,000 will be distributed between before March 2008.

We are proud to support 7 new organizations, in addition to the more than 10 organizations that we assisted in the past. These new organizations focus on homeless women and children, as well as in promoting education and health in high risk kids.

We could not have done all this without you. The generosity of our volunteers, members and friends always surprises us. We sincerely thank you for your donations, your participation in our events, your individual drives and for spreading the word about our work.

Our main goal for the coming year is to share with you the needs and challenges of the projects we assist in Uruguay and to encourage you to invest (or continue investing) in Reaching U as an agent of change. Our commitment is to continue our hard all volunteer work and to select and follow-up the non-profit organizations with higher impact among those in need.
